Head saatusekaaslased Ukraina Pimedate Liidust
Meil Eestis on raske ette kujutada olukorda, milles teie ja teie lähedased olete viimased päevad pidanud elama.
Venemaa alusetu ning andestamatu rünnak Ukraina riigile on toonud kaasa suured raskused ka Ukraina nägemispuudega inimestele.
Võime vaid oletada probleemide ulatust, millega olete pidanud viimastel aegadel rinda pistma.
Kirjutame teile, et avaldada toetust ja pakkuda abi.
Eesti Pimedate Liit soovib annetada Ukraina Pimedate Liidule 1000€.
Meie poole on pöördunud ka meie liikmesühingud, kes samuti soovivad teid toetada.
Lisaks rahalisele annetusele soovime pakkuda teile vajalikku tuge. Kui on midagi, millega meie siit Eestist saame aidata, andke palun meile teada.
Teeme oma parima leidmaks üles Eestisse jõudvad nägemispuudega Ukraina sõjapõgenikud ning osutame neile igakülgset abi selleks, et nad siin end hästi tunneksid.
Hoiame teid mõtteis ja südames!
Eesti Pimedate Liidu juhatuse nimel

Dear friends, members of The Ukrainian Association of the Blind
It is very difficult for us in Estonia to imagine the situation in which you and your loved ones have had to live in since last Thursday.
Russia’s unfounded and unforgivable attack on Ukraine has also caused enormous difficulties for people with visual impairments.
It is difficult to imagine the scale of the problems you have had to deal with lately.
We are writing to you to offer support.
The Estonian Blind Union wishes to donate € 1,000 to the Ukrainian Blind Union.
We have been approached by our member associations, who are also keen to support you.
In addition to financial support, we would like to provide you with any other kind of help. Please let us know what kind of help is most needed.
We will do our best to find visually impaired Ukrainian war refugees arriving in Estonia and provide them with all possible assistance to make them feel comfortable here.
Our thoughts are with all of you in these dark and shocking times.
Jakob Rosin on behalf of The Board of Estonian Blind Union
